Totally Silent Generators
I am not a fan of the constant drone of generators while crafting at my C.A.M.P. I was particularly turned off by the scraping and rusty screeching noises put out by the wind turbines. Since the other mod out there did not eliminate the wind turbine noise and removed turret noises (something I did *not* want to remove), I chose to create my own mod. I’ve been using it for a while now and just decided to upload it.

I replaced the audio with tiny, completely silent audio files, and I will not be producing other versions at varying volume levels.

Installation
Extract the SilentGenerators.ba2 to your Fallout76 Data folder.
Add the following line to the bottom of the [Archive] section in your Fallout76Custom.ini file:
sResourceArchive2List = SeventySix – ATX_Main.ba2, SeventySix – ATX_Textures.ba2, SilentGenerators.ba2

If you already have a “sResourceArchive2List” in your Fallout76Custom.ini file, then just add “, SilentGenerators.ba2” to the existing string of mods (without the quotes).

Removal
Remove SilentGenerators.ba2 file from your Fallout76 Data folder
Remove “, SilentGenerators.ba2” from sResourceArchive2List string of your Fallout76Custom.ini file

Compatibility
This mod is not compatible with any mod that changes the sound of any generators.

Disclaimer
Currently, Bethesda has only mentioned that using mods may lead to game functioning improperly. Note that this mod simply changes some sounds and offers the player no benefit or advantage over other players while playing Fallout 76.
However, you should use this mod at your own risk.
