Simply Appalachia

Simply Appalachia is a lightweight ReShade made to improve and enhance the Vanilla look of West Virginia without impacting gameplay and framerate.

This ReShade preset is designed around the Vanilla feel of Fallout 76
and is heavily inspired by my favorite Fallout 4 Enb : Subtle Enb

My Goal was to create a ReShade that removed the ugly grey fog that is ever present while also retaining the Vanilla feel for everything from shadows to coloration in every region. ReShades should be for more than just a pretty screenshot and I kept that in mind building these settings from the ground up; a work that has been in progress since before Wastelanders launched.

Every edit is intended to keep the Vanilla feel from shadows and night darkness to lighting improvements and even how things look in menus and your Pipboy which other ReShades completely ignore.

Installation
Download ReShade

Run ReShade and manually search for Fallout 76.exe which should be found under your location of installation : Drive / Bethesda.net Launcher / games / Fallout 76 (or Steam location)
Once installed make sure to set my Simply Appalachia.ini as current preset (File can be stored anywhere)

Boot up game and the ReShade menu will appear from here on during start up; you can use

the Home key to bring up settings and the End key to turn effects entirely on and off.
