Work in Progress!
I started to work on this mod a week ago and I wanted it to be published at least one week before Christmas Eve.
At the moment, it is still unfinished and I’m working on it:
There are still 8 classical tracks left to be replaced (You probably will notice it during your gameplay) -> High Priority Fix
Some songs need some time adjustments or volume tweaks.
The main page needs some improvements.
Why this selection?
The idea behind NWW Radio was to create an in-game radio for this holiday season, with a “fresh” selection of winter and Christmas tunes that could fit Bethesda’s Fallout Vibe. Therefore, for this playlist I have only included themed cheesy-jazzy songs and well-known carols from the time period between the 30s to the late 50s – early 60s and some modern tracks with a vintage style.
How does this Mod work?
The NWW Radio mod replaces every track of the Classic Radio folder with new tracks containing songs or a cluster of songs that fit the original music files’ length.
Track-swapping is controlled by the server – I have experienced some songs ending earlier than expected due to bad connection and short time gaps between music tracks.
Installation:
1) Manually:
Copy the mod file NWW Radio.ba2 to your DATA folder inside the Fallout 76 installation directory.
Open your file Fallout76Custom.ini (located on C:\Users\USER\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76)
Find the line “sResourceArchive2List” and add NWW Radio.ba2. as it follows: sResourceArchive2List=NWW Radio.ba2
Tune in and Enjoy!
2) Using a Mod Manager:
I strongly recommend using this mod for the installation: Fallout 76 Quick Configuration– INI Editor and MOD Manager (by datasnake01)
