Chinese Wetsuit
This mod switches out the Marine Wetsuit models for the Chinese Stealth Suit models.
This mod changes the Marine Wetsuit under-armor into the Chinese Stealth Suit. This change is purely cosmetic and will not confer any chameleon effects or radiation resistance normally provided by the Stealth Suit in-game. This change is only visible to users of this mod. As with any mods in an online game not yet supporting mods, use this mod at your own discretion and/or peril.
Installation:
Edit (or create) Fallout76Custom.ini in a text editor of your choice (I prefer Notepad ++, but standard Notepad should do fine).
This file is (or should be) located at Documents/My Games/Fallout 76/Fallout76Custom.ini.
Add (or edit) the code to include the following:
[Archive]
sResourceArchive2List = ChineseWetsuit.BA2, ChineseWetsuit_textures.BA2
You will need both of these archives unless you want to have issues with how the hands display in-game.
FAQs:
Why did you do this?
Because the vanilla Chinese Stealth Suit replaces all of your armor in-game, and I wanted to be able to use it as under-armor.
Does this include the Chinese Stealth Suit Helmet?
No. Version 1.0 did, but I decided to remove it in 1.0.1 because if I don’t HAVE to remove something from the game, I’d rather not. The stealth suit needed to replace something, and I chose the wet-suit because it was the closest thing in the game resembling the stealth suit, but replacing the Marine helmet would have been redundant. I also don’t want to give people an excuse not to to the associated quest to get the stealth suit. In the end, my only goal was to make the cosmetic available as an under-armor and the helmet is not a part of that.
The Female model clips a little!
This isn’t a question. Talk to Bethesda; I cannot edit models and port them into the game at this time, as most modding tools available for Fallout 4 are not going to be made available for 76 until they begin offering mod support.
Can anyone else see this?
Scroll the hell up to the top of the page.
Will this get me banned?
Probably not, but there are never any guarantees until Bethesda officially begins offering mod support.
Will you do this or that thing for me?
No. Again, without the required tools making most changes are difficult or impossible.
